ETIQUETTE

Classes are fun and friendly, but we do follow some simple etiquette best practices to ensure a positive experience for all students.

CLASS ETIQUETTE

  • Arrive 10 minutes early

  • Stretch and jump rope as soon as the preceding class has concluded.

  • Newer students partner with experienced students

  • Talk with your partner about how hard you want to go when sparring

  • Talk with your partner about injuries

  • Remove gear from mats when class is over so next classes can begin

  • Clean clothing/wraps every class

  • Be a good pad holder/training partner by encouraging and challenging your fighter

MUAY THAI ETIQUETTE

  • “Pay Respects” utilizing a Wai before and after all activities to include stepping onto the training area/mats. A “wai” is a bow that is done by standing tall with your heels together and “prayer hands” in front of your face.

  • Be polite, be humble, be someone you would want to work with or learn from.
